Lightweight good no makeup day option. Sheer and hydrating.Wonderful moisture and fabulous discrete concealer I highly recommend this product.By Terry Moisturizing CC Cream/Tinted Moisturizer in “nude” spreads smoothly and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It provides lightweight hydration and color correction that works well for redness from broken capillaries, irritation, light sun exposure and so on. My skin is light, and the nude shade adds just a hint of color. This looks natural and sheer. It makes my skin tone look more even by helping more with redness than dark spots. It’s nice for no makeup days as it’s lightweight and gives color correction and line blurring so my skin looks better. It has smoothing silicone and for me it’s much like a primer with color correction that’s nice under my foundation. This CC Cream lacks SPF (the titanium dioxide seems more for color), so it won’t replace a sunscreen. An SPF would be good for when I use this without makeup, while I don’t need more SPF when I use this under my By Terry foundation that has an SPF 30. This doesn’t replace my face cream as I have dry skin (but I like the added lightweight hydration). This CC Cream provides me benefits, though I feel it would have been most ideal when younger as I didn’t wear foundation and my skin wasn’t dry. So it would have given me the color correction benefit and replaced my moisturizer. But I think how well this addresses needs will vary by person as some will want an SPF, some won’t and so on.This has a moderately strong rose fragrance that’s in many By Terry products and has various other chemicals (e.g., methylparaben, phenoxyethanol, aluminum hydroxide, silicone). Whether one wants to avoid that stuff is a personal issue, though I can say that I haven’t experienced any irritation or known issues despite having sensitive skin and allergies. Like it. 4 stars. So I like this. It’s light. But it also feels heavy enough to be more then a color corrector. But I can’t stand the smell. I can not stand the smell at allI’m normally not bothered by scented makeup, but this one is next level. I’ve used the byTerry rose scented blushes and lip products before, and the scent has always been lovely but eventually dissipates. This rose scented CC cream is straight up in my nostrils the moment I use it and then lingers on me like I am wearing it as perfume. Even if I just spot conceal with this product, I am continually accosted by the scent as I go about my day. It really is a bit much for a makeup product. I ordered this CC cream in the shade “Nude” and it is currently a bit too light for my skin. It will be perfect in the winter, but for now I really have to bronze it up. The “Nude” shade is light with warm golden undertones. The coverage is light and the formula is moisturizing without being greasy. Overall, I like this product…just wish the scent would chill out.I like what this product is trying to do, but in this day and age for it not to have any SPF is ridiculous. For that I am giving it 4 stars. Otherwise, great coverage for me, but everyone is a bit different with our skin tones and needs. For me I just need a bit of evening out and some once in a while corrections. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, so this tube will last me quite a while. Overall, happy with the product.I'll preface this by saying I love By Terry makeup products. I have a quite a few that I really love and would pay full price for but this for me was just not worth the price point. It is very moisturizing but the tint to me just didn't feel like it had any coverage at all and it doesn't have sun protection so it's really just a moisturizer in my book and not one I would pay 87 dollars for. I do still like it and will use it, I just don't love it like I love some of their other products. This tinted CC cream is exactly what I wanted for summer—it’s a lightweight wash of color without giving me a full makeup look. It looks natural and pretty, feels great on my skin and the Nude color blends into my skin perfectly—it’s neutral and doesn’t turn orange. I also love that it doesn’t have SPF, as I’m one of those who prefers my sunscreen be in a separate product, so I appreciate that they left it out of this. The only thing that I don’t love is the rose scent. I’m not exactly bothered by rose scented things, but this CC cream is a little strongly scented and it remains noticeable for quite awhile on the skin—I wish it was a lighter rose scent or unscented all together. I do like the moisture this gives me, lending to a fresh and hydrated look.
